Solution:
We were engaged by P&O Cruises to create innovative entertainment concepts for two signature spaces aboard the Iona: The Dome and The Atrium — both stunning architectural marvels designed for social interaction rather than traditional performances.
Our creative challenge was to transform these beautiful yet unconventional spaces into immersive entertainment environments. Leveraging state-of-the-art theatrical equipment, advanced lighting, and winch automation systems, we designed dynamic shows that soared vertically — featuring aerial performances and scenic elements suspended in mid-air.
To further enhance the immersive experience, we incorporated spatial soundscapes, laser effects, and 360° visuals, creating captivating moments that surrounded guests from all angles. Each performance combined elements of physical theatre, cirque, and show artistry, blending movement, storytelling, and surprise in unexpected ways.
Impact:
By transforming these non-traditional spaces into vibrant entertainment experiences, we helped redefine onboard entertainment for P&O Cruises. The bespoke shows and immersive vignettes became signature highlights, captivating guests and elevating the ship’s overall atmosphere with memorable, awe-inspiring moments.
